The show absolutely could have gone on, but after it was pulled from the air, fans were left wondering about what could have and should have been.Īt the end of season four, the episode that concluded the show left off on a genuine “to be continued” screen, alluding to the fact that there was plenty more going on for Earl Hickey. In one of the more surprising cancellations in recent memory, My Name Is Earl was yanked from the air, despite still having a decent-sized audience that was tuning in each week. Clearly, there were some big things around the corner for our favorite characters, but we never got to watch it all unfold.
Those of us that took the time to watch My Name Is Earl certainly remember how hilarious the show was during its run, but we also remember the fact that the series left off on a massive cliffhanger.
